Therapy Approach

I take a collaborative approach to therapy that focuses on supporting clients connect with their values to build motivation for the changes they are seeking therapy for. I view my role as walking alongside you in your therapy journey and supporting you in setting goals that allow you to feel more fulfilled in your life. I aim to support clients’ autonomy. I won’t tell you what to do - rather we can work together on building insight into barriers preventing you from living the life you want, and then gradually taking steps in the direction of your goals.

Areas of Specialization

Anxiety

I support clients with a variety of anxiety symptoms including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and phobias.

Trauma-related concerns

I assist clients in adjusting to large changes in their lives, treating PTSD, and addressing dissociation.

Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders

I’ve received specialized training in treating OCD as well as body-focused repetitive behaviors such as hair pulling and skin picking.

LGBTQ+ Topics

I enjoy working with clients wishing to discuss and/or explore gender identity and sexual orientation. I provide an affirming space to discuss the impact of marginalized identities.
